What is a Personal Chef?
A personal chef
works with a client to determine individual tastes, specific dietary
requirements and nutritional goals. Based upon conversation and a
detailed food questionnaire, customized menus are developed for the
client's approval. Once a personalized menu is approved, a cooking
date is set for the chef to prepare these meals in the client's home.

How many meals are
prepared?
A typical service
will provide 2 adults with 10 dinner entrees and side dishes. The
chef prepares 4 hearty servings of 5 different entrees and sides. Of
course, the portions can be increased to accommodate family size.
And, you'll never see the same menu prepared for at least 6 months,
unless you request repeats of your favorite meals.

How
often do I need the service?
This depends
entirely on your lifestyle and the number of family members. Some
clients arrange for a personal chef every other week, while others may
request a once-a-month service.

What happens on cooking day?
On your scheduled
cooking day, I will shop for the groceries to ensure you get the
freshest products available. I arrive at your home with my "traveling
kitchen"--all you provide is the use of your stove, oven, microwave,
refrigerator and freezer. All your meals will be neatly packaged in
disposable containers, labeled, and dated and you'll receive a copy of
the menu along with easy to follow reheating instructions. To top if
off, your kitchen will be clean and your home will smell wonderful.

What type of storage containers do you use?
I use pressware, freezer bags, Gladware, and
aluminum containers. All are disposable and can go from freezer to
oven or microwave.

you offer gift certificates?
Yes. It's ideal
for a special event such as the arrival of a new baby or for a person
recuperating from an illness. The minimum gift certificate is a
typical service: 4 servings of 5 entrees and side dishes.
